Mrs. Ify Uzokwe works with the Federal Ministry of Defence. She obtained her Diploma in Law, LLB and LLM from the Lagos State University and obtained her BL from the Nigerian Law School Lagos Campus. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, FIDA and the Association of Professional Negotiators & Mediators of Nigeria. Ify has been in active legal practice and has appeared in all superior courts of record in Nigeria.
Wole Omisade, Esq., is a partner in Olawoyin and Olawoyin, a law firm in Lagos. Wole obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in 1998. He was called to the Nigerian bar in 2001. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Notary Public. Ayodeji Olabiwonnu is a quintessential practitioner with a bias for General Dispute Resolution, specialized transactions and Land/ Real Property practice. His participation in several specialized trainings, seminars and conferences has also earned him consummate hands-on experience in Intellectual Property Law and he has advised diverse clients on copyrights, trademarks and patents registration and management. She was the pioneer Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA from August 2006 to May 2007. She is the Managing Partner of Paul Usoro & Co., a leading law firm in Nigeria.
Mrs. Usoro has served on a number of presidential and ministerial committees and was chairperson of the ministerial sub-committee of the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA) regional Maritime development bank in 2009.
She is the recipient of several national and international honours and was conferred with the Officier de L’Ord de Mono, a national honour of the Republic of Togo in 2002.

Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud, LL.M SAN, OON, FCIArb President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is the Managing Partner of Dikko and Mahmoud Solicitors and Advocates. He had his LLB and LLM from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and worked with the Kano State Ministry of Justice for 15 years rising from pupil state counsel to the position of the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
He has other certificates and qualifications in law related field a certificate in techniques of privatization from the Institute of international Development at Harvard University. Gbenga Oyebode MFR is the Managing Partner of Aluko & Oyebode a leading law firm in Lagos. He graduated from the University of Ife in 1979 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1980 and obtained his LLM from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the New York Bar.
Prior to his current position, he was a partner with the firm of Ajumogobia, Okeke, Oyebode and Aluko from 1985 to 1992. Gbenga also was previously affiliated with the Gulf Oil Company (Lagos and Houston) and White & Case (New York). Mrs. Priscilla Ogwemoh is the Managing Partner of Olisa Agbakoba Legal. She oversees the general administration and day to day running of the multifaceted practice of the law firm. Priscilla studied at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where she obtained her first degree in law in 1990 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991. Rrtd. Hon. Justice Ayotunde Phillips was born on July 26, 1949 in London. She started her career at Kehinde Sofola’s Chambers on November 1975 and joined the services of the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation as a legal Officer in 1976 and rose to the position of legal adviser in 1990, the same year she got a transfer to the Ministry of Justice where she became a High Court Judge in 1994. On July 2012, she was appointed the Chief Judge of Lagos State and retired meritoriously in 2014.
She has remained in active service even after her retirement. Justice Philip is presently the chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) and was recently elected as Africa’s representative in the FIFA’s Ethics Committee Adjudicatory Chamber.
For a woman who has achieved so much and who has worked hard almost all her life, Hon. Justice Philip deserves to be celebrated. Today, friends and family have continued to pour glowing tribute to Justice Philip even as she glows and dazzle. Below are some of the tributes to the amazon:
